DON’T MISS OUT! LAST YEAR’S EVENT WAS A SELLOUT
The Event Planning Committee (EPC) is finalizing plans for a fun-packed “Jest Jazz” event with Jazz Vocalist Judith Murray, local jazz pianist Ricky McNamara, Irish music, Irish Brunch, raffles and light bantering by local politicians and town officials.
The morning will start off with an Irish Brunch. Complementing the menu will be coffee, cold drinks, and a cash bar with a selection of brunch-inspired Irish drinks.
After brunch, Judith Murray, jazz vocalist will perform. We have invited state and local politicians, candidates running for public office, and town officials to join in on light bantering, MC’d by Selectwoman Betsy Sheeran and Chairman of the Town Republican Committee Gerard Leeman.
Everyone will have the opportunity to come away a winner. We have multiple type raffles, provided by many of our local merchants. Baskets, sponsored by local merchants valued at $100, will also be raffled.
The event will be held at the West Side Social Club, Harrington Court in Wakefield from 9:30 – 1:30. Tickets are being sold at Smith’s Drugstore, 390 Main St. in Wakefield. Cost of ticket $20 per person. For those who want to purchase a table of eight, contact Susan Wetmore at email@example.com or 781-462-8472. Follow us on Facebook.
